Each year NorCal GSP Rescue faces increasing medical costs,
and we need your help. Our group is one of the few that takes in older
and special needs dogs and this has strained our funds. On average,
we spend about $850 per dog, and we only receive about $225 per adoption.
If a dog requires surgery or special care, the cost is even higher.
How do your donations help? Here are some of the ways your donations benefit GSPs in our care:

Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated and will go toward costs involved with caring for rescued GSPs. NorCal GSP Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so all donations are fully tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Giving provides a special way to reach out to family and friends

a meaningful way while providing support for NorCal GSP
Rescue's dogs.
The NorCal GSP Rescue Sponsorship Program allows individuals, families, or companies to sponsor a GSP listed on our adoption page under the Foster Dogs section, until that GSP finds its forever home. Sponsors can help provide these wonderful dogs with medical treatment, collars, tags, food, bedding, toys, and any other needs that may arise (everything that is not covered by the adoption donation).
Make a minimum one-time donation of $25.00 and you will be acknowledged on our website under the GSP’s picture as the sponsor with your first name and a small statement, if you wish. Each GSP can have more than one sponsor and one person can sponsor more than one GSP.
Send your donation via PayPal - select the dog you wish to sponsor on our adopt page and click on that dog's PayPal button. Then e-mail your brief statement (if any) that you would like as part of your acknowledgement to us at donate@NorCalGSPRescue.com
Company Matching and Employee
Giving
Be sure to check if your employer has any sort of company matching
or employee giving program. For example, some employers will
match your donation up to their predetermined limit. Other employers
give a contribution if you volunteer x number of hours per year
to a non-profit organization. And some employers will contribute
to a non-profit organization on your behalf once you designate
the cause.
Usually, the employer will send a form to us for verification
of your donation or hours. This form can be mailed to us at:

All over northern California, we are lucky to be in the midst
of some 30 Pet Food Express stores – locally owned & operated.
PFE has a huge heart for animal rescue groups and have many
programs to support our fundraising and outreach efforts.
PFE has created My Mutt Program: Celebrating Rescue & Adoption
The My Mutt program supports agencies and
rescue groups by creating professionally photographed giant
wall posters of your beloved rescue. These amazing color posters
can be seen hanging on the walls and from the ceilings of
all of the PFE stores, celebrating the dog and identifying
the rescue group which received a financial donation. PFE
doesn’t charge NorCal GSP Rescue directly any fees for
this privilege. To participate, anyone who has donated at
least $250 to NorCal GSP Rescue within the past year (amount
excludes adoption donations) is eligible. Let’s join
the dozens of other rescue groups already participating in
the My Mutt Program and have our adopted
GSPs displayed proudly.
