ADOPTED ! ! ! Hendrix has been adopted! Thank you to Annie in Arizona for taking him in and giving him the home he deserves. Thank you to Best Friends for getting the word out and helping Annie and Hendrix find each other. Many of you have followed Hendrix’s story, and we’d like to continue to provide periodic updates on how he is doing. Hendrix will have ongoing needs and expenses beyond those of a “regular” dog, and we’d like to be able to help Annie with those expenses. For example: diapers; vet wrap, gauze, tape, and other wound care supplies; replacement parts for his wheelchair; slings and braces. Also, Annie would like to purchase a trough or pool for Hendrix so that he can continue his hydrotherapy.

Hendrix continues to wear diapers in the house, but is learning to control his bowels and has almost no accidents in the house anymore! He goes outside for potty when all the other dogs do.
